On November 6th the Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA will be offering an In-Person CE course option that will cover the 4-hour elective requirement for Licensed General Contractors & Licensed Brokers as required under the NCLBGC and the NCREC.

This class will be offered In-Person at the Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA Office.
This course is designed to showcase the many similarities between Land Use and construction and why it matters to really pay attention to both when constructing a new structure. Many contractors start a new build with the tried-and-true requirements of the North Carolina Building Code. In this course, we take a different approach and study the mechanics of zoning first to make sure your project gets off to a good start. Upon completion of this course, students will have a better understanding of a Zoning Ordinance specifically the dimensional requirements as well as the overall mechanics of a zoning ordinance and how it relates to the construction of a structure.

This CE Elective class will run from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Though the class begins at 12:00 PM, we will be opening the registration at 11:15 AM. to allow time for check-in.

If you plan to just receive NCLBGC credit for the 4 Hour CE Elective, then the following fees will apply: $75 for members or $90 for non-members - This fee covers your NCLBGC Fee as well.
If you plan to just receive NCREC credit for the 4 Hour CE Elective, then the following fees will apply: $75 for members or $90 for non-members - This fee covers your NCREC Fee as well.
If you plan to receive CE Credit for both the NCLBGC & NCREC then the following fee will apply:
$100 for both CE Classes - Combined Rate - This fee covers both your NCLBGC & NCREC Fees as well.
