CE Virtual Class - Land Use & Construction: Why It Matters to Pay Attention - 4 Hour Elective
On March 3rd, Wilmington-Cape Fear HBA will be offering a virtual CE course option that will cover the 4 hour elective requirement that licensed general contractors are required to complete under G.S. 87-10.2
This class will be offered via the WCFHBA's Zoom platform.
This course is designed to showcase the many similarities between Land Use & Construction and why it matters to really pay attention to both when constructing a new structure. Many contractors start a new build with the tried and true requirements of the North Carolina Building Code. In this course, we take a different approach and study the mechanics of zoning first to make sure your project gets off to a good start. Upon completion of this course, students will have a better understanding of a Zoning Ordinance specifically the dimensional requirements as well as the overall mechanics of a zoning ordinance and how it relates to the construction of a structure.
*A minimum of 10 students is required for the class to run, and registration is capped at 75 students.
